Carty This is the directorial debut of Michael Carty, an artist and writer from the Bronx. Beautiful Kid is also his first produced screenplay. His script, The Tragedy of Poor, Old, Angry Tom has recently been optioned with John G. Avildsen scheduled to direct. Colum
McCann An award-winning Irish novelist and screenwriter, Mr. McCann is the author of five books, including This Side of Brightness, Songdogs and the recent, Dancer. His short story, Everything In This Country Must…, was recently made into a film and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Short. Beautiful Kid is his directorial debut. Patrick
McCullough Patrick McCullough is an award-winning producer and director. Mr. McCullough recently received a Cine Golden Eagle for his production of Sara’s Diary, a teen suicide prevention film, which he also directed. He has produced and directed several award-winning films for Good Friends Film Productions, Inc., a non-profit educational film company. His short film, A Dream Come True, played at several festivals, including Slumdance and New Orleans, and was nominated for Best of the Fest at the Movies On A Shoe-String Festival in Rochester, NY. He has served for three years as a Blue Ribbon Panel Judge for the Emmy’s Children’s Specials in Writing and Directing. His feature script, Broham, was a finalist in the Sundance Film Festival Screenwriting Program. He studied theater at Carnegie Hall; producing and acting in productions that received critical acclaim and traveled internationally, including the US Embassy in Mexico, The Dublin Theater Festival in Ireland and the Signature Theater in New York City. Beautiful Kid is his first feature.
